CCI Governance Organigram template

1. To facilitate the structural and functional comprehensiveness of Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures (CCI), we have developed two organizational templates: Model 1: Independent Institutions within the CCI In this template, hospitals, research institutes, and universities operate as independent entities within the CCI structure. Each institution retains its operational and managerial autonomy while collaborating in areas such as cancer research, education, and treatment. Coordination is essential, but there is no formal integration under a unified network, allowing for flexibility between organizations. Model 2: Comprehensive Cancer Networks (CCN) In this second template, hospitals, research institutes, and universities are grouped into Comprehensive Cancer Networks (CCN). These networks are interconnected and collaborate more systematically, sharing resources, knowledge, and projects seamlessly. The functional integration optimizes efforts in research and care, promoting a coordinated approach to cancer treatment. 2. The document “Governance at Institut Curie” explains the structure and roles of the governing bodies responsible for overseeing, managing, and guiding the strategic direction of the Institut Curie. This governance model serves as a valuable example for establishing the governance framework of a Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructure (CCI)
